There is now an option "all land runways", which is what I need in an SOS context. Cancel my previous gripe; but I wish one could set it up as the default. The previous version was happy to start up with out-of-date GPS data; I have not yet checked whether the new version does.

What an extremely imformative app, and for only $0.99. The developer did their homework on this one, put so much information in, that you can almost do your flight planning from this app. I have to say it is now one of my favorite avaition apps. I really believe all pilots should invest in this app, you wont go wrong.

Awesome a must have and cheap

Is there any way you could add FBOs with contact information for each airport? If you could provide this data, this app would be a 5+ star!!

My hope was that with the latest update they had update the airport frequencies. I guess that I wished for too much. Some airports have frequencies and most only list the UNICOM freq. It does so for LAX, BUR, ATL, JFK, and many more. USELESS! It needs tower, ground, & clearance & delivery freqs.

Great app! The only suggestion I would make is to add an airport diagram, in addition to the other map views. But great app

Worth the money, not just for flying but i call on airports for work too. FBO contact information would make it hands down the best aviation app out there.

Practical information, easily available. Please provide tower, ground frequencies in future upgrades

Lots of info an nice map integration. Good to have offline at some remote airport or location. Not sure if anyone would actually think of taking out their iPhone when their engine quits like the description says but useful nonetheless in other situations. AOPA should use the instead of that crappy interface by Foreflight used in their free app.

Tremendous app: very useful and helpful, with lots of important information at the touch of a finger. Its a wonderful and welcome supplement to my other piloting apps; its great to have those details available off-line. Its very reasonably priced, as are the database updates. Im looking forward to the iPad version.

Ok so one month ago this was a superb app, 0.99$ and now, its a 6.99 app with all the world airports for an extra $99.99. Yes i did say ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. This is inexplicable. From a few thousand airports to millions, we have to pay $100? We can get all this info on an internet site! Where is the developpers problem? I will delete this in a week if no update is published by then. Hear me? A WEEK.

This app like many others is under continual development. I bought it and downloaded many of the nation states in order to better understand what the developer has in mind. The concept is good and for me has the potential to be really quite useful. I think we need to see where Awele and his team can take this app ;-) For me it isnt where the information comes from, it is how it is arranged and presented for the user. Dictionary - Novel?
